1972 Fiat 500 F

SOLD
Today it’s impossible to drive a classic Fiat 500 without attracting admiring glances, especially in this striking yellow example with matching interior detail. To meet the demands of the post-war market which called for economy cars, in 1949 a front engine Fiat 500 was released. Despite its diminutive size, the 500 proved to be an enormously practical and popular vehicle throughout Europe. Production of the 500 ended in 1975. The Fiat 500 has a Cx (aerodynamic resistance coefficient) of 0,38, a very good performance for its time. This specific example is an original Dutch delivered example which is rather unique. The car has been owned by a private gentleman who invested much more money than the current value of the car. Some years after the restoration he sold the car after a long discussion to a large collector who scarcely used the Fiat. The Fiat is in a very nice condition. The car has been very nicely resprayed and the aluminum and chrome parts are very nice. Without looking at money the Fiat has been restored and therefore the glass and windows etc. are all in a very nice condition. The carpets and upholstery are very nice and the typical speedometer in the middle is nice and functioning well. The car is very well protected against rust and this is what you can see on the pictures as being a bit brown. It is a tectyl to protect the car. Driving the Fiat is so fantastic. The fantastic little car is rather fast and steers fabulous.
